Positioned between MEST's entry-level 1208V and large-format 2513, the MEST-1612V's 1600×1200mm bed gives production teams meaningfully more room to batch small items — fridge magnets, keychains, nameplates, and other promotional or craft parts — than an entry-level machine allows, while still fitting into factory layouts that can't accommodate a full large-format line. More items per run means fewer print cycles per day, less idle time between batches, and a lower cost per piece.

With printing speeds ranging from 6 to 30 m²/h depending on print mode and printhead configuration, the MEST-1612V is built to keep production lines running at a steady, predictable pace. Support for up to 9 customizable printheads lets you scale output to your order volume, whether you're running one shift or operating multiple machines in parallel.

The MEST-1612V is standard-equipped with Ricoh G6 and Ricoh G5S industrial printheads (Epson i3200-U1 also available as an optional configuration). Ricoh G6 delivers ultra-high firing frequency suited to continuous mass production, while Ricoh G5S is engineered for high-drop, high-precision output — holding sharp detail even on substrates with slight height variance or uneven surfaces. Compared to consumer-grade heads found in entry-level printers, Ricoh's industrial nozzles are built for continuous, high-intensity duty cycles, translating into fewer nozzle failures, more stable color output, and a significantly lower long-term cost per printhead replacement.

Instead of juggling separate scanning, RIP, and print-control software, the MEST-1612V runs on MEST's proprietary 3-in-1 operating system — combining vision scanning, print parameter adjustment, and RIP processing into a single interface. The workflow follows the natural sequence operators already think in: load material, scan, adjust, print. This reduces training time for new staff and eliminates the file-transfer and format-conversion steps common with multi-software setups.

The MEST-1612V can be equipped with an industrial-grade marble platform as its printing base. Unlike standard metal beds, marble has extremely low thermal expansion and virtually no warping over time, which keeps the surface perfectly flat even after long hours of continuous operation. This rock-solid flatness reduces vibration during high-speed printhead movement and minimizes micro-level positioning drift, allowing the vision system and printheads to maintain consistent registration accuracy print after print — resulting in sharper detail, more even color, and fewer misprints on long production runs.
